Cultural Village Accreditation, Srimulyo Takes One Step Up to Become a Cultural Village

Piyungan (Gerbang Madu News), - Tuesday (29/06/2021) Kalurahan Srimulyo had the opportunity to be able to take part in the 2021 Cultural Village Accreditation from the Kundha Kaculture of the DIY Culture Office.

The event was attended directly by the Head of the Bantul Regency Culture Office, Nugroho Eko Setyanto, S.Sos, M.M. along with the Accreditation Jury Team from the DIY Provincial Cultural Office, Panewu Piyungan, babinkamtibmas, babinsa and linmas Srimulyo Village.

Various preparations have been made by the Srimulyo Village, namely by forming an Accreditation Team to prepare administration, materials and various equipment that support aspects of the assessment including aspects of customs and traditions, aspects of folk/traditional arts and games, aspects of language, literature and Javanese script, aspects of crafts, culinary and manufacture of traditional medicine as well as aspects of spatial planning and building as well as cultural heritage.

All materials are presented in the form of documents and supporting photos due to the Covid-19 protocol policy which resulted in the assessment being carried out only at the Srimulyo Village Hall without visiting the location or presenting many people.

"Kalurahan Srimulyo shows the dynamics of social and cultural processes so that Kalurahan Srimulyo shows the synergy between the layers of society and the Kalurahan government in building a Cultural Village," said one of the Assessment Teams.
