DIY Boosts Vaccination of Tourists to Accelerate the Creation of Herd Immunity through Danais

Tourism actors in Bantul Regency have vaccinated in Selarong Cave, Pajangan Bantul on Thursday (19/08/2021). The vaccination was carried out in collaboration with the Yogyakarta Tourism Office, Paniradya Kaistimewan, the Bantul Tourism Office, the Bantul Health Office and the Bantul Communications and Information Office with the support of the DIY Privileges Fund. This activity was held in order to accelerate the creation of herd immunity and regenerate trust in the tourism sector. The target of this vaccination activity is 650 tourism and creative economy actors in Bantul, including the Srimulyo Village. Participating in this activity, 121 tourism actors from the Srimulyo Village were enthusiastic to attend and get vaccinated.

On that occasion, the Deputy Regent of Bantul, Joko B. Purnomo said, "The fact that is seen from this activity is a concrete form of the DIY Regional Government, especially the Governor Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X who pays attention to us, especially those related to tourism in this case".

We all know that tourism is one of the economic veins in Bantul in general and Srimulyo Village in particular, so tourism is placed as a priority in this vaccination program.
