Accreditation Visit to Assess Pokdarwis, Tourism Village, and Homestay in Srimulyo Village

Piyungan (Kabar Gerbang Madu),- On Monday (19/9/2022) Tourism Village Srimulyo (Dewi Mulia) was assessed by the Yogyakarta Provincial Office of Tourism in the sectors of Pokdarwis (community of tourism enthusiasts), tourism village/compounds, and homestay. The assessment was carried out in the meeting hall of   Srimulyo village. A task force of the tourism office employed accreditation instruments to assess available data or documents. They also interviewed all the persons in charge of those sectors. To verify the data or documents, a site survey was done in a homestay.  

The task force consisted of T. Prasetyo H.A, SE, M.Par., tourism village assessor, Yitno Purwoko, S.E, M.Sc., Pokdarwis assessor, and Anton Nurni Hando, homestay assessor. On that occasion, Ediana, the executive of the tourism village, explained to the assessors the development of tourism activities in Srimulyo village. Meanwhile, the village head of Srimulyo stated that the visions and missions of the tourism activities in the village were designed to implement cooperation-based tourism.
