For the Third Time,Pokdarwis Srimulyo Together with Janabadra University Develop Tourism Through PKW

Piyungan (Gerbang Madu News), - The development of the number of community tourist destinations in the Srimulyo Village has grown very rapidly in the past 3 years. Currently, there are 17 tourist destinations which are divided into embryo and developing tourism categories. In improving the quality of human resources and accelerating development in the tourism sector, Pokdarwis Gerbang Madu Srimulyo Village continues to strive to improve and continue to learn and collaborate. This year, the Gerbang Madu Pokdarwis focuses on organizing one of the natural panorama tour located in Jolosutro Padukuhan and surrounded by many other tourist objects such as Watu Amben, Bukit Bintang, Pengger Pine Forest, and right under the Sunan Geseng Tomb which is a religious tourism.

In developing Bukit Tinatar Tourism, the Tourism Manager with Pokdarwis Gerbang Madu collaborated with Janabadra University through the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) chaired by Drs. Danang Wahyudi, M.Sc. The activities that will be carried out are training on processed food products typical of ketupat and grape cultivation which in the future will be integrated with tourism activities in order to provide added value for the tourist attraction of Bukit Tinatar. In addition to training to strengthen human resources for managing Bukit Tinatar, the Regional Partnership Program has also built some physical infrastructure, namely the provision of wifi, planing, procurement of solar panels, gardening and finishing of the Bukit Tinatar tourist icon. This activity is an activity in the third year that has been established with the Madu Gate Pokdarwis. In the first year, focus activities were carried out in Bukit Tompak and the second year at Kebon Empring Market as well as several other community tourism objects in the area Srimulyo Village.

"The more partners, of course, the easier it will be in accelerating development, so we can share the responsibility together and not rely on the Village Fund considering the number of tourist attractions in Srimulyo Village while the amount of available funds is limited. We are aware that the development of community tourism has a simultaneous impact on the economy, education, networking and image of Srimulyo Village as a tourist area which is now visible in front of our eyes.' Say Faisal, Head of the Gerbang Madu Pokdarwis, Srimulyo when contacted online (25/8). Hopefully this program can run smoothly and provide benefits for realizing the Srimulyo village as a good host for tourists.
